Democrats don’t play nice. You can throw facts at them all day long and it won’t matter.
Harry Reid’s latest diatribe, this time focusing on the Koch brothers is just another example of where he’s happy to fling crap, not caring at all that he’s lying.
It’s admirable for the Wall Street Journal and Republicans to push back against Reid and other Democrats by pointing out unions spend a whole lot more money on politics than the Koch brothers do.
Admirable, but useless.
People can absorb facts. However, they act when the issue becomes more personal.
As I pointed out in the small piece I wrote yesterday, the Koch brothers have donated hundreds of millions of dollars of their own money to cancer research. What has Harry Reid done?
That’s what I would do. Any time Harry Reid opens his yap about the Koch brothers I’d ask:
“Senator Reid, Charles and David Koch, over the last 15 years, have donated nearly $400 million to medical research causes and institutions. How much have you donated?”
I’d bring it up every single time. Now that the Democratic playbook has been revealed, you can bet that every Democratic automaton will be out there repeating the same smears as Harry Reid right up until election day.
The bottom line is, the Koch brothers have done more for this country than Harry Reid ever has.
Harry Reid is not a public servant. He’s a leech.
So forget the niceties. The facts are good.
But they should be brought up only after Reid and his ilk have been pummeled into the ground.
